About Us

Welcome to Ironworkers Local No. 584

Ironworkers Local No. 584 has contributed to the common good of society by elevating the standard of living of those who work in the ironworking industry, and we strive daily to further such efforts throughout the Midwest.

The purpose of this website is two-fold. First, we want to educate potential members, contractors, and the public about the genuine opportunities and immeasurable benefits associated with membership in our local union. Second, for our current membership, we want to share local union news, to inform them of opportunities for further education and training, and to offer an online system for payment of dues.

The officers and members of Local No. 584 take pride in providing our employers with a highly skilled, well-trained, and drug-free workforce. Our members have the opportunity to advance their skills and knowledge by attending comprehensive Journeyman Upgrade Training. Our training and dedication to ensuring our members have the highest skill levels have enabled them to complete area landmarks such as: the Williams Center (a.k.a. the BOK Tower), the Reading & Bates building, the ONEOK Field and Headquarters, the David L. Moss Center, Oral Roberts University, the University of Tulsa Reynolds Center, Pensacola Dam (a.k.a. Grand River Dam), Keystone Dam, the Bank of Oklahoma (BOK) Center, the International Petroleum Exposition Center (now called the Tulsa Expo Center), and the tallest structure in Oklahoma, the Channel 8 Tower, just to name a few.
